LEXINGTON, Ky. - After three-set sweeps over West Virginia and Pittsburgh last weekend, the University of Cincinnati's volleyball team earned nine votes in the Nov. 10 Bison/AVCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today.

In this week's poll, UC earned nine votes compared to the three votes received in last week's poll.

The Top 5 stayed intact as Penn State held on to the top spot, followed by Stanford, Nebraska, Texas, and Washington. Two previous Bearcats opponents from this season, Hawai'i and Minnesota, moved up to No. 6 and No. 15, respectively. Cincinnati concludes its BIG EAST conference schedule on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. versus Rutgers. Sunday also marks Senior Day as seniors Natalie Dossman, Jessica Elley, Jessie Nevitt, Lindsey Peterson, and Jami Torok suit up for the final time at Fifth Third Arena.
