BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving team continued its three-day stint at the Hoosierland Invitational, Saturday at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center.

The meet concludes Sunday as the Bearcats face off against Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Truman State among others.

Jeremy Peter (Obernai, France/Lycee Freppel) put together the top performance of the day, placing in three championship finals. He was third in the 400-yard individual medley (3:56.66), seventh in the 100 backstroke (50.22), and eighth in the 100 breaststroke (58.03).

The women's 200-medley relay team of Liz Hansson (Lund, Sweden/St. Petri), Emma Misanik (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover), Elinore de Jong (Bussum, Netherlands/Goois Lyceum), and Lange Gilby (Cleves, Ohio/Taylor), clocked a time of 1:46.98 to place seventh. The men's quartet of Peter, Rob Langford (Mason, Ohio/St. Xavier), Patryk Wakula (Zabre, Poland/Somsit), and Josh Schneider (Cincinnati, Ohio/Taylor) also placed seventh, covering the course in 1:34.69.

Jakub Carda (Brno, Czech Repulic/Sportovni Gymnasium) placed fourth in the 400 IM with a 3:57.79 clocking. Langford won the bonus final of the 100 breaststroke, swimming a time of 59.91.

De Jong won the consolation final of the 100 butterfly, touching in at 56.09.
