CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Cheerleaders and Dance Team invite fans to join them at Fifth Third Arena on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m. for a sneak peak at routines they have prepared for the 2009 College Cheerleading and Dance National Championships, which take place on Jan. 16-18 in Orlando, Fla.
The previews will give the Bearcats an advantage in performing their spirit routines in front of a large audience much like those during the National Championships, which are set to air on ESPN2.
The event, starting at 4 p.m., will feature the co-ed and all female cheerleading teams, as well as the All-Girl Quad Stunt Group and the Bearcat Dance Team. The Dance Team will be performing both their Hip Hop and Jazz routines.
All three of these spirit squads have been putting in the long hours and hard work in preparation of the National Championships. So please come and cheer on these student athletes on Jan. 11 as they have so vastly done for Bearcat athletics this season.
The showing will last approximately one hour.
