- Cincinnati's National Championship Hip-Hop Performance
ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati dance team won its fourth national title in the past six years, bringing home first place in Division IA Hip-Hop at the 2009 Universal Dance Association - College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship over the weekend at Walt Disney World.
The dance team also finished fourth in the Division IA Dance competition. The Bearcats won hip-hop championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
The Coed Cheerleading squad finished eighth in their competition, tied with Tennessee.
UC's cheerleaders and dance teams will continue to be in action at all men's and women's home basketball games for the balance of the 2008-09 season.
