CINCINNATI - Season tickets for the 2009 University of Cincinnati baseball season are now on sale through the Athletics Ticket Office, the school announced Friday.

Season tickets to all the action at Marge Schott Stadium are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for UCATS members, senior citizens, UC faculty/staff, and youth ages 12 and under. Single-game tickets for the 2008 campaign are $5 apiece for adults and $3 each for fans 12 and under. Special pricing for groups of 10 or more are also available. Call the UC Athletics Ticket Office for more details on group sales.

"There is not a better value on the local sports scene than a season ticket to Marge Schott Stadium," head coach Brian Cleary said. "The popularity of college baseball is at an all time high because of the energy of the college game. We are looking forward to an exciting 2009 season and hope to add to the numbers of the fans who have become hooked on UC Baseball."

UC baseball season tickets are available online at CATSTIX.com, by phone at 1-877-CATS-TIX, or in person at the Athletics Ticket Office located on the fourth floor of the Richard E. Lindner Center. Current season ticket holders may also renew their seats through the same methods.

Cincinnati plays 30 games at Marge Schott Stadium this spring. After playing in the inaugural BIG EAST/Big Ten Baseball Challenge and traveling to Davidson, N.C., the first two weekends, UC enjoys a nine-game, ten-day homestand that includes Bradley, Dayton, and Western Michigan.

April 14-15, Marge Schott Stadium will be the site for the inaugural Joe Nuxhall Classic. The Bearcats host Miami (OH), Xavier, and Wright State for a four-game, two-day tournament to honor the legacy of the "Ol' Lefthander."

Regional rivals Miami (Ohio), Xavier, Indiana, and Wright State also travel to the Queen City in 2008. The April 29 match-up against Xavier marks Glenn Sample Day as the Bearcats will pay tribute to the life of UC's all-time winningest baseball coach.

BIG EAST play opens on Friday, March 20 at Pittsburgh, but the Bearcats play four important conference series at home which includes Louisville (April 3-5), Notre Dame (April 9-11), Villanova (April 24-26), and Seton Hall (May 14-16).
