CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati head men's soccer coach Hylton Dayes announced the 2009 spring schedule which includes 10 matches spread across 4 tournaments in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The Bearcats will face off against several Ohio rivals during the month-long spring schedule.

"It is a very challenging schedule with matches against NCAA tournament teams Dayton, Ohio State, and Indiana," Dayes said. "The guys have been working hard since January in anticipation of the spring season. This schedule will give us the opportunity to see how much progress we have made since last fall."

UC will kick off its spring slate with the Alumni Match on Friday, April 3 at Gettler Stadium. Two days later, the Bearcats face Marshall and Northern Kentucky at home in the UC Tournament.

The Bearcats will travel to Dayton for their second spring tournament, where they will take on Dayton and Western Michigan on Saturday, April 11 at 11:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., respectively.

Once again the Bearcats hit the road for the Indiana Tournament located in Bloomington, Indiana. The Bearcats will go up against IUPUI and Indiana on Tuesday, April 14. The Bearcats slate continues into late April when the team travels to Lexington, Kentucky to take on Memphis and Rio Grande on Saturday, April 18.

Closing out the 2009 spring calendar, the Bearcats return home to face Ohio State at Gettler Stadium in the annual Blue Chip Showcase on Saturday, April 25.

Admission is free to all spring matches.
