2009 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Meet Schedule | | ESPN360.com
CINCINNATI - After reaching a NCAA automatic qualifying standard with her score of 4073 in the pentathlon at the BIG EAST Championships, junior Jasmine Cotten heads to College Station, Texas, to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships March 13-14. The event will be held at McFerrin Athletic Center and tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-99-AGGIE.
The women's pentathlon begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 13.
A total of 568 participants will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic or provisional standards established for each event.

Her last time out, Cotten was the BIG EAST champion of the pentathlon with an NCAA-automatic qualification of 4,073 points. Cotten's performance shattered her own school-record, which was set at the All-Ohio Championships Feb. 13-14 with a score of 3,958. Within the pentathlon, Cotten finished in first-place in the high jump after clearing a height of 5' 10 1/2", which was a NCAA-provisional qualifying mark.
