COLLEGE STATION, Texas - University of Cincinnati swimmer Josh Schneider wrapped up the final day of the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship Saturday in the 100 freestyle at the Student Rec Center Natatorium on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

The junior, who earned honorable mention all-America honors in the 50 freestyle Thursday, clocked 43.79, which was over his seed time of 43.08. He did not qualify for the Saturday evening finals.

He placed 15th in the 50-yard freestyle with his time of 19.43, and clocked a 47.94 in the preliminaries of the 100 butterfly but did not qualify for the finals.

Schneider was a three-time BIG EAST Champion in 2008 and also was named BIG EAST Male Swimmer of the Meet. He set three UC and league records at that meet.
