COLLEGE STATION, Texas - University of Cincinnati swimmer Josh Schneider clocked 47.94 in the preliminaries of the 100 butterfly, but did not qualify for the finals on day two of the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship, Friday at the Student Rec Center Natatorium on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Schneider is set to close out his championship by swimming the 100 freestyle Saturday.

The 100 freestyle is the second event Saturday. Preliminaries begin at 1 p.m. and finals start at 8 p.m. each day. The top-16 swimmers in each event qualify for the finals.
