CINCINNATI - On Sunday, April 5, the University of Cincinnati baseball team hosts its first nationally televised home baseball game when the Bearcats meet the Louisville Cardinals at Marge Schott Stadium at 2 p.m. on ESPNU. Clay Matvick will handle the play-by-play duties, while three-time Stanford Cardinal all-American Kyle Peterson will provide analysis.
Sunday's game is a Ring of Red Game as the Bearcats will wear their red jerseys and all Bearcat fans are encouraged to wear red. Following the game, there will be a post-game autograph session on the field with the team. Fans will also have the opportunity to take their photo with the Keg of Nails.
The game is a re-match of last year's BIG EAST Conference Championship game, which resulted in a 6-3 Louisville win.
The three-game series kicks off on Friday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m., and Game 2 is set to begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
Fans can purchase season tickets for $20 or single-game tickets for $5 by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX.
