CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football team opened up week three of practice with its eighth spring workout, under cloudy and rainy skies, Tuesday at Nippert Stadium.
The defending BIG EAST Champions spent two hours on the field after taking the Easter holiday off. Following some early individual work, the team moved into goal line situations, a move head coach Brian Kelly said was to shake the rust from a three-day layoff.
"We needed to up the tempo a bit," Kelly said. "We were expecting them to be rusty, but we got them on the goal line early to get them moving.
Kelly spoke to GoBEARCATS.com following practice. You can view his entire interview HERE.
