CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Department Of Athletics will play host to Bearcats Pride Day on Saturday, April 25 concluding with the marquee event Bearcat Bowl III at Nippert Stadium at 7 p.m. Other events include a football clinic, baseball game, athletics garage sale, and a soccer match.

Bearcat Bowl III, UC's 15th and final workout of the spring, is free and open to all patrons. Fans are encouraged to sit on the east side of Nippert, opposite the press box.

During the game, the defending BIG EAST Champions will present the 2008 senior class with their championship rings.

Bearcat Bowl III is only one of several events taking place on the Clifton campus on April 25.

A free youth football clinic for players up to eighth grade will take place on the Nippert turf at 3 p.m. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. Following the clinic, selected student-athletes from the football team will be on hand to sign autographs.

The baseball team takes on Villanova at 4 p.m. at Marge Schott Stadium. Admission is free and hot dogs, and popcorn will be available at the concession stands for $1.

The Bearcats Family Zone on Sheakley Lawn will be open from 5-6:30 p.m. The Family Zone will feature many of the activities normally seen on a regular football game day such as inflatable games, cornhole, and a new feature, a caricature artist. Student-athletes from various UC athletics teams will be signing autographs inside the area.

The men's soccer team will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes at 7:30 p.m. at Gettler Stadium. Admission is also free with hot dogs, and popcorn available at the concession stand for $1.

Leading up the Bearcats Pride Day, the soccer team is raffling a 2009 Pontiac Solstice from Jeff Wyler Pontiac. Raffle tickets cost $100 each and will be sold from 2-6 p.m. at Gettler Stadium. The winner will be announced during the Ohio State soccer game. The winner does not need to be present, but must be 18 years of age or older.

The department of athletics will also play host to an Athletics Garage Sale on the west concourse of Fifth Third Arena from 2-6 p.m. Items to be sold will include various used and never worn UC athletic gear, shoes, travel bags, and more at discounted prices.

Saturday, April 25 is also the renewal deadline for season ticket deposits, ticket payments, UCATS pledges, and 2009 football renewals/seat improvement requests. All patrons that renew their season tickets by Bearcat Bowl III will receive a display replica of the 2008 BIG EAST Championship ring.

Beginning in May, seat improvement appointments will be made, continuing through June. Those purchasing new season tickets will still be able to make a deposit toward 2009 season tickets throughout the summer.

UC Athletics is offering all patrons the opportunity to purchase 2009 season tickets at the current price and lock in that price for the 2010 season. Ticket purchases and new deposits can be made online at CATSTIX.com or by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX. Deposits allow fans to hold their spot in line and wait until they select their seats after May 11 to pay in full.

Account Executives will be available April 25 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Athletics Ticket Office inside the Richard E. Lindner Center to help season ticket holders renew their tickets or purchase new season ticket plans.
