CINCINNATI - The UC Department of Athletics participated in the 4th Annual MainStreet Stride Parade on Friday (May 15). The parade began on McMicken Commons and concluded at the Meyers Alumni Center with a program and picnic sponsored by Pepsi, MainStreet, UC Alumni Association, and Government Relations.
The World and National Champion UC Dance Team served as the Grand Marshal of the parade. BIG EAST Champion Head Football Coach Brian Kelly served as one of the judges for the spirit contests and Director of Athletics Mike Thomas announced the winners of several awards.
The Department of Athletics support staff walked in the parade as well as other UC teams, including the cheerleading team and mascot, football, men's & women's swimming & diving, men's and women's track and field, baseball, lacrosse, men's soccer, women's soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
