JUNE 5, 2009: CINCINNATI ZOO
The Bearcats Caravan was out this weekend spreading the Bearcat spirit. On Friday, June 5, the Bearcat van made its way to the Cincinnati Zoo for their Member's Night festivities. The event featured a Special Members ONLY Give-a-way, Wings of Wonder Bird Shows, Cheetah Encounters, live music around the park, crafts, animal enrichments activities throughout the park, animal encounters, Meet & Greets with Zoo mascots, FREE train, tram and carousel rides and discounts throughout the park.
A dozen of UC's Football players and ten players from the Women's Volleyball team were on hand at the event signing autographs and interacting with guests in the Bearcat Inflatable Football Toss, where kids had the opportunity to try their shot for different UC prizes. The participants had fun in the sun and the event was a success!
JUNE 6/7, 2009: SUMMERBRATION
The Bearcats Caravan made its way to SummerBration, the tri-state's largest free country music festival in Blue Ash on Saturday, June 6. The event featured barbeque, family fun, a teen area and more.
Kids had a chance to win prizes by playing UC's inflatable football toss, while parents had the opportunity to drop their business card in a drawing for two free tickets to UC's first home football game in 2009. The two day event was a lot of fun and a huge success!
