COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Former Bearcat Omar Cummings was named Goal.com Major League Soccer Player of the Week after leading the Colorado Rapids to a 3-0 win against D.C. United on Saturday (June 20) in Dicks Sporting Goods Park.

Cummings scored twice and assisted on the final goal in the win, extending Colorado's unbeaten streak to seven games.

The former Cincinnati striker has five goals and six assists through 12 matches this season. He currently ranks 11th in the league in goals and second in assists.
