CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati head baseball coach Brian Cleary announced today that walk-on tryouts for the 2010 season will take place on Monday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. at Marge Schott Stadium.
Those interested in trying out for the team must attend a mandatory meeting scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m. in the Bob Goin Team Room on the second floor of the Richard E. Lindner Center. If unable to make the meeting due to a class conflict, contact assistant coach J.D. Heilmann at 513-556-0565 and those attending need to bring a pen to the meeting.
At this meeting, walk-on tryout participants will be given more detail about the tryout process, applicable NCAA rules, and those participants will provide the coaching staff necessary background information.
NCAA rules state that a student wishing to try out must be a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours) at UC's main campus.
