CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football season ticket referral program returns for its third season in 2009 and is a great way for existing season ticket holders to be rewarded each time they refer a new patron who purchases UC football season tickets.
UC season ticket holders continue to be the Bearcats best asset when educating sports fans in the Cincinnati community about the local and national impact a full Nippert Stadium can have on our city and the future of this rising program.
By referring family members, co-workers, and friends who purchase Bearcats football season tickets, fans are rewarded with special Bearcats Referral Program Experience gifts for participating in the program.
All patrons who successfully refer a new account will receive an entry into the grand prize raffle. Patrons will also receive a University of Cincinnati Football t-shirt for the first season ticket or mini-plan sold.
Patrons receive seven points for each full-season ticket sold, and three points for each mini plan sold.
Those points will be tallied and the patron with the highest point total will win the Ultimate Bearcats Fanatic Grand Prize, which consists of a complimentary season ticket renewal for the 2010 season for up to two football season tickets, and a pair of season tickets to men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, and baseball.
Those in second through seventh place will win the opportunity for a special pregame experience for a UC football game in 2009. Winning patrons will have the chance to be on the Nippert Stadium turf prior to a game and be at the 50-yard line for the coin toss.
The second place recipient will pick their game first, followed by the third-place patron through the seventh-place spot.
The referral program ends on Sept. 10, 2009. Winners will be contacted on Sept. 11.
Leaderboards will be updated weekly with a featured `Fan Leader of the Week'. The leaderboards will consist of a Top-10 listing, and fans will be recognized during the UC-Illinois game on Nov. 27, 2009.
This season, UC welcomes in one of its best slates of opponents to Nippert Stadium. UC will play host to Illinois (Big Ten), Fresno State (WAC) and Southeast Missouri State, as well as three exciting BIG EAST matchups against West Virginia, Louisville, and Connecticut.
Ticket Packages can be purchased online at CATSTIX.com or by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX. Orders can also be placed in person at the UC Athletics Ticket office, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. The ticket office is located on the fourth floor of the Richard E. Lindner Athletics Center.
