CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati head women's basketball coach Jamelle Elliott spoke today to the Academic, Administrative and Professional Women (AAPW) organization on UC's Campus. AAPW's mission is UC Women: Developing our Community, Career and Well Being.
"AAPW is a special group representing different women from units across campus coming together as a team," said Elliott. "Just like AAPW, our women's basketball program comes from different backgrounds to form a team to achieve our goals."
"AAPW is very excited to have had the new women's basketball coach, Jamelle Elliott, as the featured speaker today at our first program of the year," said Mindy Weaver, AAPW President and Senior Business Administrator, UC Department of Internal Medicine. "The UC Department of Athletics has been a great resource for management skills and teamwork strategies for AAPW and its members. We appreciate Coach Elliott's talk today and wish her great success in her University of Cincinnati career."
