CINCINNATI - Tickets for the BIG EAST Showdown at Nippert Stadium between the defending BIG EAST Champion University of Cincinnati and West Virginia University are nearing a sellout, the University of Cincinnati Athletics Ticket Office announced on Wednesday. Less than 400 tickets remain for the game which is set for an 8 p.m. on Friday, November 13.
UC Athletics has designated this game as the "RING OF RED" game for the 2009 season and is encouraging all fans to "Come Early and Be Loud", but on this one night of the year, "Wear Red" instead of the trademark UC BLACK.
Individual game tickets are also selling quickly for next Saturday's Game vs. Fresno State and for the Oct. 24 Homecoming tilt vs. Louisville. One guaranteed way to get tickets to each of the five remaining home games is to purchase a Reduced Schedule Season Ticket, priced at $245 for UCATS Reserved Seat, $227 for a Non-UCATS Reserved Seat, $190 for a UC Staff Ticket, and $449 for a set of four season tickets in the Family Plan. This package enables you the opportunity to see non-conference games vs. Fresno State and Illinois, along with BIG EAST games against West Virginia, Louisville, and Connecticut.
