Jocelyn McCauley Named BIG EAST Women's Athlete of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Following a win at the Queen City Invitational on Sept. 12 in her Bearcat debut, senior Jocelyn McCauley (College Station, Texas/A&M Consolidated) was named the BIG EAST Women's Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced today.

McCauley, a transfer from Brigham Young, led Cincinnati to a 1-2-3 finish and beat out 105 runners with a time of 18:20 in the 5k race. McCauley crossed the finish line 18 seconds before any other racer as the Bearcats tied for first overall with Xavier, scoring 48 points apiece.

Cincinnati's next race is at the Iona College Meet of Champions on Sept. 19 in New York, N.Y.
