CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Athletics Ticket Office has sold out of its inventory of tickets to the Oct. 3 football game at Miami (OH) University, the department of athletics announced Monday.
Fans are encouraged to contact the RedHawks Ticket Office to purchase game tickets. Tickets can be ordered online at MURedHawks.com, in person at the Millett Hall Box Office or by phone 1-866-684-2957. Adult tickets are $20 and tickets for youths under the age of 18 are priced at $15.
UC fans are encouraged to Come Early, Be Loud and Wear Black to the 114th Annual Battle for the Victory Bell. Saturday's game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. at Yager Stadium.
The Cincinnati-Miami Victory Bell is the oldest non-conference college football rivalry in the United States. The two schools have met 113 times on the field with Miami leading the all-time series 59-47-7, including a 14-7-2 mark in Oxford. The first meeting in the series was on Dec. 8, 1888 and was the first collegiate football game played in Ohio.
UC, ranked No. 10 in the latest Associated Press poll, has won the past three matchups and four of the last five, including a 45-20 victory last year in Clifton.
As a result of a joint venture between the Men of METRO and Student Government, with support from RallyCats, the Student Athletics Promotion Committee, the Department of Athletics, and the Alumni Association, six busses of UC students will make the short trek to Yager Stadium on Saturday.
