CINCINNATI - With excitement building surrounding the dawn of the Jamelle Elliott era of Bearcats Women's Basketball, the UC Athletics Ticket Office has announced that VIP floor seats are sold out for the first time in school history and season ticket sales have more than doubled from last year's total.
Season tickets for the 2009-10 University of Cincinnati women's basketball season are on sale now, beginning as low as $30.
Fans can join the PRIDE PROGRAM for only $65 to receive benefits including a commemorative t-shirt, lanyard, invitation to special events, and more!
First-year head coach Jamelle Elliott brings a winning tradition to Cincinnati and fans can get a front row seat for 17 matchups this winter, including an early December matchup against Kentucky and BIG EAST battles against Louisville, Notre Dame and Pittsburgh.
Former women's basketball player Keely Feeman was the first to purchase season tickets to support her alma mater.
"Jamelle Elliott and her staff have reached out to the former players to get involved in the program and this was one way to show my support," said Feeman. "Season tickets are a great value and I will have the opportunity to return to my alma mater, cheer for the Bearcats, and sit courtside for BIG EAST women's basketball, the toughest league in the country. The future looks bright for Cincinnati and I want to be there for every exciting minute!"
UC head football coach Brian Kelly got in on the action, purchasing a pair of VIP floor seats while Elliott herself purchased 24 season tickets with plans to distribute these tickets to youth groups throughout the season.
