CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati senior wide receiver Mardy Gilyard (Bunnell, Fla./Flagler Palm Coast) was named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2009 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation Announced.

Gilyard has 47 catches on the season for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. His eighth touchdown grab of the season came against Louisville, giving him 22 for his career, tying for UC's career lead with former great Dominick Goodman (2005-08).

Gilyard, UC's all-time leader in kick returns, is moving up the UC career receiving charts as well. He has 2,486 career yards, anneeds 27 yards receiving to become UC's all-time leader, surpassing Goodman (2,512). He also ranks third on the career charts with 164 receptions.

The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the nation's top college receiver. The next vote for the top-three finalists will take place from Nov. 16-Nov. 19.
