CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati basketball head coach Mick Cronin visited Chicken on the Run in Deer Park on Wednesday night for the fourth event of the 2009 BEARCAT BASKETBALL CARAVAN series. Coach Cronin spoke to the crowd, answered questions they had and signed autographs. The Bearcat mascot also made an appearance and entertained the crowd! Two lucky fans won a BEARCAT fan pack that included two ticket vouchers to a basketball game this season.

"Chicken on the Run has been a longtime supporter of Bearcat Athletics and we were happy to spend Wednesday night with the friendly staff and Bearcat fans on the East side of Cincinnati," said Greg Harrell, Marketing Manager for UC Athletics.

The last BEARCAT BASKETBALL CARAVAN event is scheduled for Monday, November 2 when both head coaches Mick Cronin and Jamelle Elliot will visit Gameday Café downtown. Gameday Café is located at 537 E. Pete Rose Way and will be providing specials to Bearcats fans for the event from 6:00-8:00 pm. Fans will have an opportunity to hear from Coach Cronin and Coach Elliot as well as receive autographs. The Bearcat Caravan will be present distributing 2009-10 schedule cards, schedule posters, ticket information and prizes for the 2009-10 basketball seasons.
