Friday, November 6
Join the Cincinnati Sports League and Bearcats Nation this Friday, November 6th at the Holy Grail from 6-9 pm to get ready for Saturday's showdown between your No. 4 nationally ranked Cincinnati Bearcats and the UCONN Huskies. The environment this weekend promises to be electric as the Bearcats look to Black Out the Huskies before a ABC Prime-Time national audience. The party starts Friday night, picks up Saturday with the Bearcats Bash official student tailgate on Bearcats Commons prior to the game, and ends with another Bearcats victory!

Didn't get student tickets to the big game before it sold out? FOUR student tickets will be given away at the Grail to students in attendance! From 7:00-8:00pm a student ticket will be given away to lucky attendees every 15 minutes!

UCONN vs. UC home football game Day Festivities, Saturday, November 7
The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics announced its pregame festivities for the Saturday, November 7 football game at 8:00 p.m. in Nippert Stadium when the #4 ranked UC football team takes on the University of Connecticut. Fans are encouraged to wear black for the annual BLACKOUT promotion.

The UC Alumni Association plays host to pregame activities just north of Nippert Stadium at the Myers Alumni Center and Sigma Sigma Commons. The BEARCAT BLITZ starts four hours before game time and runs until 30 minutes prior to kickoff so fans can be in their seats for the start of the game. The BEARCAT BLITZ features music, a cookout with food and beverage vendors, and cornhole. In addition to the Bearcats Blitz, the Myers Alumni Center parking lot will open at 7 am, and will be filled on a first come, first served basis for card carrying Sustaining & Life Members.

Two hours and twenty minutes prior to kickoff, the CATWALK will take place starting at the Kingsgate Marriott and winds its way through the Sigma Sigma commons and on to Nippert Stadium. The UC Bearcat Band, cheerleaders, and Bearcat will be there to help escort Coach Kelly and the Bearcats to the stadium.

The Bearcats Family Zone on Sheakley Lawn will run from 5:30-7:30 PM. Kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable games, music, face painting, cornhole, and participate in the Cincinnati Kids Club Activity station. Sheakley Lawn is also home to Future Bearcats Field, a mini football field that kids can practice kicking, run drills and try on jerseys and equipment from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Season ticket holders are invited to the Bearcats Club, an exclusive pregame event in the atrium of the Richard E. Lindner Center. Fans who show their season tickets at the main entrance have the opportunity to receive a complimentary Pepsi product and light snacks while supplies last. Fans who renewed their season tickets prior to April 25 have the chance to claim their renewal gift, a display-sized replica of the 2008 BIG EAST Football Championship Ring. Bearcats Lair members will also have the opportunity to receive their limited edition 2009 Lair black t-shirt.

Gates open at 6:30 pm. The pregame fun ends a half-hour prior to kickoff so fans have plenty of time to get to their seats in Nippert Stadium to cheer the Bearcats. For more information, call 1-877-CATS-TIX.

The CATWALK (5:40 pm, Myers Alumni Center and Sigma Sigma Commons)
The CATWALK, a Cincinnati tradition started last year, begins approximately two hours and twenty minutes prior to kickoff. Starting at the Kingsgate Marriott and moving through the Sigma Sigma Commons, Coach Kelly, and the Bearcats will make their way to Nippert Stadium. The UC Bearcat Band, cheerleaders, and Bearcat will be there too. Grab a spot along the route to cheer the Bearcats on to victory!

BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE: (5:30-7:30 p.m. Sheakley Lawn)
The BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE is always the place to start your family fun before every UC football home game. Located on Sheakley Lawn adjacent to the Richard E. Linder Center and Nippert Stadium (Gate 2 Entrance), kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable games, music, face painting, cornhole and participate in the Kids Club Coloring Corner. The BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE is available two and a half hours prior to kick off and can be accessed from Corry Avenue, located west of Marge Schott Stadium. Be sure to bring your youngest Bearcats' fans to enjoy all of the unique pregame fun!

FUTURE BEARCATS FIELD: (5:30-7:30 p.m., Sheakley Lawn)
Kids can visit the Future Bearcats Field on Sheakley Lawn from 5:30-7:30 pm for each home football game. Future Bearcats Field includes a mini football field that kids can practice kicking, run drills and try on jerseys and equipment. Great way for parents to take fun photos of their children playing football!

BEARCATS CLUB (5:30-7:30 p.m., Richard E. Lindner Center)
All 2009 Bearcats football season ticket holders are invited to an exclusive pregame event, BEARCATS CLUB, located in the atrium of the Richard E. Lindner Center prior to every home football game. Fans show their season ticket at the main entrance of the Richard E. Lindner Center and have the opportunity to receive a complimentary Pepsi product and light snacks (while supplies last). This is the perfect last stop prior to entering the stadium. For the first two home games, fans that renewed their season tickets prior to April 25, have the opportunity to claim their renewal gift and the BEARCAT LAIR members have the opportunity to receive their complimentary limited edition 2009 Lair black t-shirt.

START: 4 hours prior to kickoff, must have a valid T1 or T2 permit
FINISH: 60 minutes following the conclusion of the game

Pre-game: -Fans can enjoy a pregame skydiving show by 'Start Skydiving' who have committed to perform jumps at all our home game. Fans interested in learning to skydive can click here.

-The 2009-10 Women's Basketball team and the new coaching staff will be recognized, including new head coach Jamelle Elliott.

Sunday, November 8
University of Cincinnati women's basketball fans will have an opportunity this Sunday, November 8 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. to get a preview of the 2009-10 Bearcats as the team will hold an one-hour open practice to the public in Fifth Third Arena. The open practice will feature the Bearcats going head-to-head against one another in a practice setting. Fans will have an opportunity to receive 2009-10 schedule posters and schedule magnets.

Season tickets for 2009-10 UC women's basketball are on sale now. VIP Courtside seats are SOLD OUT! Be a part of the Pride Program for only $65 for the season. Benefits of the PRIDE program include an adidas lanyard, commemorative t-shirt, tickets to the 16 game season, invitation to events and more! Regular adult general admission tickets are only $45. UCATS members, youth (12 & under), seniors 55+, and UC Faculty & Staff all only $30 for general admission season tickets.
