CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving squad will return to the Keating Aquatic Center for the first time since Oct. 23, 2009, taking on BIG EAST Conference rival Louisville at noon Saturday.
Diving will lead the day off at noon with swimming events starting at 1 p.m. Admission is free for all fans.
UC all-America honoree Josh Schneider has showed strong form of late, winning three events at the Miami Invitational from Dec. 3-5, 2009.
Schneider won three events, the 50 and 100 freestyles and the 100 butterfly, making the NCAA 'B' standard in all three races.
His 50 freestyle time of 19:45 is currently the second-fastest mark in the country while his 100 butterfly time of 47:07 broke the meet record and is the No. 5 time in the nation.
Louisville's women's team is ranked No. 14 in the most recent CSCAA poll while the Cardinals men's squad is ranked No. 16. U of L is led by two-time BIG EAST Swimmers of the Week Therese Bergstrom and Carlos Almeida.
