CINCINNATI - Former University of Cincinnati football players Alex Daniels and Aaron Webster were named to the initial roster for the 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Challenge, set to take place on Feb. 6, 2010 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.

The game will kick off at 2 p.m. EST and be televised by CBS College Sports. The game features top collegiate players originally from Texas against a team of top players from around the nation. Many of the players participating in the game ultimately end up in the National Football League. In 2009, 111 of 119 players on the game's roster signed NFL contracts.

Webster, safety, and Daniels, and outside linebacker/defensive lineman, were selected to play on the Nation team.

Daniels, a first-time starter in 2009, started 12 games at defensive end, finishing seventh on the squad with 56 tackles, including 22 solo stops. He led the team with 8.5 sacks, and was tied for second on the team with his 11 tackles for a loss. He also added three quarterback hurries, a pass break up and a pass defended.

Webster started all 13 games in 2009 as the Bearcats won a school-record 12 games and their second-consecutive BIG EAST Conference Championship. He was third on the team with 69 tackles, tallying 41 solo stops. He also added a team-best four interceptions, nine passes defended, two tackles for a loss, and five pass break ups. He was a First-Team all-BIG EAST honoree at safety.
