PROVIDENCE, R.I. - University of Cincinnati junior guard Shareese Ulis (Toledo, Ohio/Trinity Valley C.C.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday (Feb. 15).

Ulis scored career-high 25 points with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in Cincinnati's overtime win at Syracuse on Feb. 13. She knocked down a game-tying 30-foot three-pointer at the end of regulation to send game into overtime.

Ulis played full 45 minutes against the Orange, leading the Bearcats to the fourth BIG EAST win of the season, surpassing the team's total from each of the last two seasons.

Ulis scored 13 points against No. 4/3 Notre Dame on Feb. 9, shooting 5-of-10 from the floor and 2-of-2 from three-point range.

She averaged 19.0 points in 40.5 minutes in UC's two games last week and shot .464 from the floor, .417 from three, and .700 from the free throw line.

Ulis is second on the team with an 11.8 points and 3.0 assists per game. She leads the squad with 41 steals this season, her first with the Bearcats after transferring from Trinity Valley Community College.

Ulis' honor is the fourth for the Bearcats this season. Kahla Roudebush (Noblesville, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) previously earned Honor Roll mentions on Jan. 11, Jan. 25, and Feb. 8.

Cincinnati (11-12 overall, 4-7 BIG EAST) continues conference play on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Providence. Tipoff from Alumni Hall is set for 7 p.m. ET.
