CINCINNATI - The UC Department of Athletics Marketing is pleased to announce festivities surrounding the Women's Basketball games on Tuesday, February 22nd and Saturday, February 27th in Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats will be taking on BIG EAST rival West Virginia at 7:00pm tonight and Pittsburgh on Saturday at 2:00pm.
Tonight is $1 Hot Dog Night at Fifth Third Arena so come treat the family and cheer on the Bearcats. Shooting contests and other in-game activities will take place for fans to have the opportunity to win prizes, including our newest game, giant Tic-Tac-Toe. The UC Dance Team and St. Vincent Ferrer Dance Team will perform at halftime. The National Anthem will be sung by Angela Heater. Senior Michelle Jones will be honored for her 1,000th point as a UC Bearcat with a commemorative ball to celebrate her accomplishment.
On Saturday, the Bearcats take to the court for their last home game of the season. They will host BIG EAST opponent Pittsburgh at 2:00pm. It is promised to be an exciting game with lots of in-game activities including the National Anthem by Reggie Brown, halftime performances by the UC Dance and the Harrison High School Dance Team along with shooting contests and the "Crazy Cam" which will look for the craziest fan of the game. The Senior players on the team will be recognized and the entire team along with the coaches will be available post game for autographs on the court. Lucy, the live Bearcat, will be on the East Concourse from 1-3pm courtesy of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
