CINCINNATI - Three University of Cincinnati swimmers, Jeremy Peter, Josh Schneider, and Nathan Williams, earned all-BIG EAST Conference honors, the league office announced Thursday.
Eighty five student-athletes, representing 10 league institutions, earned all-conference accolades.
Schneider won three individual league titles (50 free, 100 free, 100 fly), setting UC, meet, and pool records in all three events and was named the BIG EAST Men's Swimmer of the Year for the second-straight season. It is the second-straight year he earned a spot on the team. He was a five-time honoree at last year's BIG EAST meet.
Peter snagged a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke to earn his spot on the squad. He was a three-time honoree a year ago.
Williams earned his spot with his second-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle race. He earned a spot on the team in 2009 in the same event.
