CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati swimmer Josh Schneider made an appearance on the Morning Swim Show on SwimmingWorld.tv Friday.

Schneider has risen from a high school state champion who had never swum year-round to a contender for the NCAA title in the men's 50 free in just four years -- and he's still improving.

The Cincinnati resident talks about his growth as a swimmer, why he didn't perform well at the NCAAs last year and what he still needs to work on in order to be among the best sprinters in the country.

Schneider won three individual league titles (50 free, 100 free, 100 fly), setting UC, meet, and pool records in all three events and was named the BIG EAST Men's Swimmer of the Year for the second-straight season. It is the second-straight year he earned a spot on the team. He was a five-time honoree at last year's BIG EAST meet.
