CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team and head coach Hylton Dayes have announced the 2010 spring soccer schedule.

Matches against 2009 NCAA Tournament participants Butler and Indiana highlight the slate, which also features the annual alumni match.

"We have put together a quality spring schedule that will challenge our players," said Dayes. "Playing NCAA tournament teams like Butler and Indiana will give us an opportunity to see how much progress we have made since the fall and also give our young players valuable experience."

The Bearcats open in Bloomington, Ind., on April 9 against the Hoosiers. UC then returns home to take on regional rival Kentucky on April 11 at 1 p.m.

Cincinnati State visits Gettler Stadium on April 16 prior to the April 18 alumni match.

The Bearcats then take on Butler at the Northern Kentucky Showcase in Highland Heights, Ky., on April 23.

The spring season finale will take place on April 27 when UC welcomes Premier Development League club Dayton Dutch Lions to Gettler Stadium.
