CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball team was set to resume its suspended game from Friday night on Saturday, March 13, but due to rain in the Cincinnati area on Saturday, Cincinnati and Niagara University are scheduled to resume Friday night’s suspended game on Sunday, March 14, at 11 a.m.
Friday’s series-opening game between Cincinnati and Niagara University was suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning due to lightning with UC leading 9-2.
Following the completion of Friday’s suspended game on Sunday, the Bearcats and Purple Eagles will play a doubleheader, with Game 1 of the doubleheader set to begin immediately following the completion of Friday’s suspended game. Game 2 is then scheduled to start approximately 30 minutes following the completion of Game 1 of the doubleheader.
