CINCINNATI - The Bearcats Caravan kicked off the season along with the Cincinnati Reds at the 91st Annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on Monday, April 5. The Bearcats Caravan followed members of the University of Cincinnati cheerleaders throughout the city traveling past the Findlay Market, down Race Street and by Fountain Square. The Capital One Mascot of the Year, the UC Bearcat, also joined the Bearcats Caravan during the parade. Caravan team members took part in cheers with the crowd. There were 178 participants in this year's parade, making it one of the largest Findlay Market Opening Day Parades.
The Bearcat Caravan continues next month as members of the UC Marketing Team and UC Coaching staff travel to the Columbus area to take part in the Coaches Caravan.
