CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati lacrosse coach Lellie Swords is extending an invitation to local lacrosse teams of any age to participate in Girls Lacrosse Day by attending Sunday's (April 18) game against Jacksonville University at 2 p.m. in Nippert Stadium.
All female lacrosse teams in the Cincinnati area, of any age, are invited. Admission is free for all UC home lacrosse games.
"We are hoping to promote team bonding and provide younger players the chance to see the fast-paced nature of college lacrosse," said Swords.
After the game UC players will be available for autographs. UC lacrosse players will come to a game to cheer on the team which brings the most players on their team to the game.
