CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team will welcome back its alumni for an action-packed weekend on campus.

The festivities begin with a Friday night (April 16) match against Cincinnati State as the Bearcats (1-0-1) continue their unbeaten spring season. Kickoff from Gettler Stadium is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free.

On Saturday, the program is hosting the inagural Alumni Golf Tournament at Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia. The driving range opens at 8 a.m. with tee times beginning at 10 a.m. The format will be captain's choice four-man scramble and prizes will be awarded following the 18-hole round. Cost is $50, which includes 18 holes and a cart. Food will be available for purchase on the course. Saturday evening, the team will take part in the annual awards banquet at Mick and Mack in Tangeman University Center. The banquet will get underway at 6 p.m. For information or to reserve a spot, contact Assistant Coach Jeremy Bonomo at jeremy.bonomo@uc.edu or 513-556-3846.

The current Bearcats will take on the alumni on the pitch on Sunday afternoon in the annual alumni match. The match gets underway at 2 p.m. in Gettler Stadium and will be followed by a post-game reception at Martino's on Vine.
