The University of Cincinnati Bearcat mascot visited the Grand Opening of the newest City BBQ location in Western Hills today. The Bearcat mingled with customers who came to check out the new restaurant and get their free sandwich platters. Children and adults alike were able to take their picture with the Bearcat. The Bearcat was also a part of the rib cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening along with City BBQ managers and Green Township officials.
The Western Hills City BBQ location is now open and located at 6475 Glenway Ave. It is the twelfth City BBQ location and the fourth in Cincinnati along with locations in Hyde Park, Eastgate, and West Chester. City BBQ offers a variety of menu items including sandwiches, ribs, chicken, various side dishes and desserts. The President and "Lead Pit Boss" Rick Malir visited the grand opening as well.
