CINCINNATI – With inclement weather projected to be in the Cincinnati area throughout the weekend, the University of Cincinnati baseball team has adjusted its weekend series schedule against Georgetown University. Instead of playing one game on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the Bearcats and Hoyas are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Thursday, May 20, beginning at 4 p.m., at Marge Schott Stadium, before concluding the series on Friday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m.
Friday’s game time is subject to change based upon the weather in the area. Armed Forces Night and ESPN 1530 Night at the Ballpark are still scheduled for Friday, but if the game cannot be played on Friday, the series finale will be pushed back to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 22.
UC has seven seniors who are playing their final games as a Bearcat in Marge Schott Stadium this weekend and those seniors will be honored prior to the final game of the series.
Cincinnati currently sits in a tie for seventh place with Notre Dame with both teams owning a 10-14 record in the BIG EAST Conference play. West Virginia and Villanova sit two games behind the Bearcats and Irish and those teams play each other this weekend in Morgantown, W.Va. Notre Dame hosts No. 11 Louisville.
