The Bearcat Caravan season is in full swing with multiple stops over the course of the week.
Last Thursday, June 3, 2010, the UC Coaches Caravan visited the Winking Lizard Tavern in Lakewood, Ohio. Head football Coach Butch Jones joined in on the Caravan and shared with fans his vision of the upcoming season and some behind the scene information for those who came out. Fans were able to win raffle prizes and pick up information about UC athletics.
The Bearcats Caravan traveled to the Cincinnati Zoo on Friday, June 4, 2010 for the Cincinnati Zoo Member's Night festivities dedicated exclusively to Zoo members and their valued Zoo supporters. The Bearcat mascot joined the caravan as well for part of the evening. The Bearcat took pictures with kids and the Cincinnati Zoo Cheetah mascot as well as a real live snake. The Bearcat Marketing Team interacted with the community, answered questions and passed out flyers about UC Athletics. UC fans were able to pick up information about all UC Athletics as well as UC's sponsor, Gameworks.
The Bearcat Caravan has two stops this week. The first is Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Barleycorns in Lakeside Park, Kentucky. Barleycorns in located at 2642 Dixie Highway. The event will be from 6-8:30pm. It is free to the public. Individual food and beverage purchases are available. Director of Athletics Mike Thomas, Head Football Coach Butch Jones, Head Men's Basketball Coach Mick Cronin and Head Women's Basketball Coach Jamelle Elliot will be in attendance to speak to fans and answer any questions. Raffle prizes will also be given out.

On Saturday, June 12, 2010 the UC Caravan will make a stop down on Fountain Square for FAMILY DAYS from 10am to noon. Family Days runs every Saturday from June 5th to the 26th. It is an event catered towards young children where local organizations come and put on activities. The UC staff members will be on hand to answer any questions about UC Athletics as well as have a raffle for men's basketball tickets. Children will be able to try their hand at the inflatable football toss and win great UC prizes. For more information on Family Days, click here.
