CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati head football coach Butch Jones and his staff welcomed the inaugural membership of the 1200 Club for an evening with the Bearcats on Friday, July 23 at the Richard E. Lindner Center.

After a welcome reception with the coaching staff and UC administrators, the group of Bearcats diehards moved to the Bob Goin Team Room on the second floor of the Lindner Center.

Coach Jones welcomed everyone to the event and launched into a presentation on the 1200 Club, outlaying what the club has acomplished thus far as well as future goals. Coach Jones went on to layout his goals for the 2010 season and touched on recruiting and what it means to Represent the C.

After the presentation, guests were broken up into three groups and given facilities tours. Stops included the recently-renovated second-floor football meeting rooms, UC's sports medicine facilities, the football locker room, fuel station, and equipment room, and the first-floor weight room.

Following the tours, the group reconvened in the Goin Room for chalk talks on the Bearcats. Offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian, defensive coordinator Tim Banks, and special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs led the respective talks, going over key points for all three units.

Membership is still open and great events are on tap for the 2010 season, including several events during the upcoming fall training camp. Contact the UCATS office at 513-556-4884 or visit www.UC1200Club.com.
