WEST HARRISON, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati football team held a 120-play scrimmage Wednesday at the Higher Ground Conference & Retreat Center in West Harrison, Ind.

After a walk through and a few periods of individual drills, the team went through the scrimmage for the rest of practice. Much of the set up was situational, working on a long field, short field, and overtime situations.

Zach Collaros was 11-of-18 for 104 yards and Chazz Anderson was 3-of-4 for 37 yards and a 20-yard touchdown to Tomaz Hilton. Isaiah Pead rushed five times for 40 yards.

Vidal Hazelton led the receivers with four catches for 24 yards. D.J. Woods had a pair of catches for 40 yards.

Camerron Cheatham, Adrian Witty, and Aaron Roberson all picked up interceptions. Roberson returned his for a touchdown.

Jacob Rogers connected on three field goals, hitting kicks of 25, 28, and 52 yards.

UC will return to the field for a single practice on Thursday, and then practice on both Friday and Saturday at Higher Ground ahead of Meet the Team Day Sunday at Kings Island. UC is scheduled to return to campus on the morning of Aug. 26. All practices at Higher Ground are closed to the general public.

KINGS ISLAND MEET THE TEAM EVENT ON SUNDAY, AUG. 22 FROM 1-3 P.M.

On Sunday, Aug. 22, head coach Butch Jones and the two-time defending BIG EAST Champions will make the trek to Kings Island for their annual "Meet the Team Day." Beginning at 12:45 pm, the team will walk down International Street and will take part in a program on the main stage underneath the Eiffel Tower. Following the short program, student-athletes will take part in an autograph session until 3 p.m.

The Bearcats open the 2010 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Fresno State. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
