The Bearcat Caravan will visit St. Gertrude Parish "Meet the Bulldogs" night on Friday, August 20, 2010. This is the kickoff to their season and the start of school for the Bulldogs. The Bearcat Caravan will be in attendance to meet and greet with UC Fans and hand out information about UC Athletics. The event begins at 5:30pm in the St. Gertrude gymnasium, which is located on the corner of Miami Avenue and Shawnee Run Road.
Next stop for the Bearcat Caravan will be this weekend as we visit Kings Island both Saturday and Sunday for Soccer and Football Meet the Team Days. The men's soccer team will have its event on Saturday, August 21. Both events include student-athlete meet-and-greets and autograph sessions from 1-3:00 p.m. inside the main entrance of the park near the Eiffel Tower and fountain.
On Sunday, August 22, head football coach Butch Jones and the defending BIG EAST Conference champions make their annual trek to Kings Island for their annual "Meet the Team Day." Beginning at 12:45 pm, the team will walk down International Street and will take part in a program on the main stage of International Street underneath the Eiffel Tower. Following the short program, student-athletes will take part in an autograph session until 3:00 p.m.
UC fans looking to attend the "Meet the Team" Days at Kings Island can purchase discounted tickets for $29.99 ($20 off the regular price) on the Kings Island website. NOTE: Discounted tickets must be purchased online prior to the day of the event.
