CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football team held a two-hour workout Monday at the Higher Ground Conference and Retreat Center before taking part in a meet the fans event at Dave and Buster's tri-county location.

The Bearcats are closing in on their last two days at higher ground with finishing strong the topic of the day.

"We've taken strides in terms of mental toughness," head coach Butch Jones said. "It's been a pretty smooth camp so far. I attribute that to our senior class and upperclassmen. They've taken ownership in our program and it shows."

The pace of practice has remained extremely rapid as the coaching staff continued to install the game plan for Fresno State while still filling out the final few slots on the depth chart.

Following practice, Coach Jones and a select group of players traveled to Dave and Busters tri-county location for a meet the fans event. Those in attendance were treated to a highlight video, autograph sessions, and everything they ever wanted to know about long snapping and punting, courtesy of Pat O'Donnell and Tom DeTemple.

Coach Jones addressed the crowd and took questions from those in attendance.
