CINCINNATI - Following the University of Cincinnati's football practice Thursday, head coach Butch Jones was presented with a custom Cincinnati Reds jersey by Larry Sheakley, a UC donor and part owner of the Reds.
The jersey features the No. 10 in recognition of UC's 2010 season. The Bearcats, who dropped their opener in a west coast matchup at Fresno State, open up the home schedule Saturday at noon against Indiana State.
Jones, in his first season as UC's head coach is a big baseball fan and has attended numerous Reds games with his family over the spring and summer.
