CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati head lacrosse coach Lellie Swords announced the addition of 10 high school standouts to the Bearcats lacrosse program for the 2011 season.
"Every year we recruit players that will help our program grow and this class is no different," said Swords. "We added players at each position that we think can come in and compete for playing time right away. We are really excited to add some much needed depth to our team."
Coming to Cincinnati will be Jenna Chiavacci (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill), Chanelle Coulon (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas), Kelsey Conway (Laurel, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel), Erin Flagg (Alpharetta, Ga./Chattahoochee), Katie Jarvis (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland), Megan Knoop (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington), Julia Tasset (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy), Jen Walsh (East Setauket, N.Y./Ward Mellville), Hilary Wagonhurst (Lutherville, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Taylor Young (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline).
