SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Jazmine Rhodes (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Polytechnic) scored the third goal of her freshman season but the University of Cincinnati (8-10-1, 2-9 BIG EAST) women's soccer team lost, 3-1, at Seton Hall University (7-10-1, 3-7-1 BIG EAST) on Sunday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. The loss ended Cincinnati's 2010 season.

After the teams battled to a scoreless first half the Pirates jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second half before Cincinnati cut the deficit to, 3-1. Seton Hall scored on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute and notched the game-winner in the 67th minute. SHU got its final goal in the 72nd minute after Brittany Albrecht scored her first collegiate goal.

Rhodes scored her third goal of the year, taking a pass from Liz Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) and sliding a shot past SHU goalkeeper Jennifer Pettigrew to cut the Pirate lead to, 3-1.

Rhodes finished with four shots for UC while Erin Kaufman (Wayland, Mass., Wayland) and Julie Morrissey (Abington, Mass./Tabor Academy) each posted three shots for the Bearcats. Ashley Daniels (Cincinnati, Ohio/Indian Hill) finished the game with nine saves.
