CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Baseball team continued its community service efforts Thursday with a visit to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center.
Head coach Brian Cleary and 15 players visited the center, which provides services and benefits to American veterans and their families. The team spent the day meeting with military veterans and hearing their stories.
"It was a great opportunity for our players to visit with Soldiers, Marines and Airmen who were able to give them some perspective and history that they might not have otherwise gotten," said Cleary.
The team plans to continue its involvement with the VA Medical Center in the future.
