FORT MYERS, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished seventh at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational on Monday (Nov. 1) at the Pelican Preserve and Country Club.
Olivia Dose (Goteborg, Sweden/Goteborg Hogre Samskola) finished in eighth place with rounds of 70-75-73=218, nine shots ahead of senior Jenny Linville (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West). Linville carded rounds of 75-76-76=227 to place tied for 24th. Bambee Dela Paz (Caloocan City, Philippines/Miriam College) tied for 26th with rounds of 79-75-74=228.
The Bearcats shot 304-299-298=901 to finish seventh, three shots behind Stetson University (311-298-289=898) and ten shots ahead of eighth place Florida Gulf Coast (308-302-301=911).
North Texas won the team title with rounds of 294-294-288=876. Daytona State College (293-296-288=877) finished second.
Daytona State's Ericka Schneider (72-70-68=210) won medalist honors by four strokes over teammate Mitsuki Katahira (69-69-76=214) and Chandra Alexander of North Texas (71-73-70=214) who tied for second place.
The Bearcats will return to action Feb. 27-28, 2011, to open their spring schedule at the Cards Challenge in Weston, Fla.
