The game is free to the public and is the first opportunity for fans to check out the 2010-11 version of head coach Jamelle Elliott's Bearcats. Elliott enters her second season on the UC sidelines.

The Bearcats welcome back Shareese Ulis (Toledo, Ohio/Trinity Valley CC), who scored 11.4 points and dished out 3.2 assists per game last season. Shelly Bellman (Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf) was granted a sixth year of eligibility and returns, having averaged 9.4 points per game during her career.

Chanel Chisholm (Long Island, N.Y./Vanderbilt) will suit up for the Bearcats for the first time after sitting out the 2009-10 season following her transfer from Vanderbilt. UC will get a glimpse at five other newcomers in freshmen LaShay Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Prep Charter), Kayla Cook (South Webster, Ohio/South Webster), Jeanise Randolph (Calumet City, Ill./Thornton Fractional North), and Tiffany Turner (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) as well as junior college transfer Bjonee Reaves (San Bernardino, Calif./Neosho County).

Dayeesha Hollins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Michigan), a Cincinnati native and Winton Woods graduate, transferred from Michigan and will sit out the 2010-11 season. She will have three years of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2011-12 campaign.
