TORONTO - Former University of Cincinnati all-American Omar Cummings and the Colorado Rapids won the 2010 MLS Cup on Sunday, Nov. 21, with a 2-1 win in extra time against FC Dallas.

Cummings, who played at UC in 2005 and 2006, is UC's only first-team all-American. The Jamaican international scored 14 goals for Colorado this season, leading the team and finishing fourth in MLS.

Cummings finished his two-year UC career ranked fifth in school history in assists with 16. He totaled 42 points in 38 career matches with 13 goals and 16 assists and was a two-time all-BIG EAST first-team honoree. He helped the Bearcats to a 2006 BIG EAST regular season championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

He was drafted in the third round of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft by Colorado and earned the team's Rookie of the Year award that season.
